Visual Identity Guidelines

A visual identity that positions OMERS Investments as a leading global investor and employer of choice for new talent.

CHALLENGES

The previous visual identity was outdated, inconsistent and failed to position OMERS Investments as a leading global investor. It used stock photography, small font sizes that were illegible on mobile screen sizes, and clunky use of visual graphics.

SOLUTION

Margaux presented a strategy that was based on hours of research and design exploration (she researched competitors and relevant industries and explored visual hierarchy, typesetting and accessible design). The new visual identity displayed optimism, resilience and growth, and positioned OMERS Investments as a leading global investor and employer of choice on LinkedIn.

Margaux also developed a set of social media templates to maintain consistency and reduce production time.

RESULTS

Recent posts created from the templates received positive engagement with 300+ likes. Due to its overwhelming success, the visual identity guidelines were extended to OMERS Corporate and across all social media channels.
